We had the good fortune of connecting with Faissal Ghanem and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Faissal, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?

My journey to start ‘Marvesol^®’ began after years of trying to cure my Rosacea. For more than a decade, I suffered from constant redness and inflammation of my face, and not a single treatment or medication was effective in managing it. My doctors and dermatologists told me this would just have to be something I live with for the rest of my life. After giving up on taking medications and using topical creams to help treat my condition, I sought out traditional medicine. I found an ancient book of herbal remedies that had been passed down through multiple of my family’s generations. I was skeptical at first – but the results spoke for themselves. Within weeks, the condition that was deemed un-curable was significantly reduced, within a month – the redness and swelling were gone, and through sustained follow-up, I was rosacea free for the first time in over a decade. Not wanting to base the success of the remedies on one case, I reached out to friends and individuals I had encountered who had rosacea and asked them to try out the regiment as well. It was a massive success, and they encouraged me to bring this marvel of traditional medicine to the public. With results in hand, I approached an accomplished Ph.D. Chemist to help me transform the old herbal remedy into a rosacea treatment formula. With his skills and knowledge on board, it took years of hard work, several experiments, and many batches of test products to finally turn the old natural blend of botanical ingredients and essential oils into an effective cream.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
My favorite spot for dinner in Los Angeles is Bestia an Italian Restaurant in Downtown LA. For drinks, 71Above is on the 71st floor and has the best panoramic views of the city. Definitely you will enjoy the drink and the view from above. For lunch I prefer The Carnival Restaurant a Lebanese Restaurant at Woodman Ave. in Sherman Oaks. The food is really authentic, delicious and they are generous. As we all know who ever visits LA would love to see Beverly Hills, Santa Monica Pier, Manhattan Beach, Laguna Niguel Beach and Hollywood Blvd, and of course, the Hollywood sign. Getty Museum and Griffith Observatory Would be part of the places to visit. One of my favorite spots at night for a glass of wine is Castaway Burbank you will enjoy the night with the majestic view.
